Students do the Actual activities and see if their estimates were right.
Clock or stopwatch.
Brewster’s Estimates Worksheet.
Digital copy for smartboard.
Pass out worksheets to each student. Read aloud the task in the Activity column. Individually, students should circle the estimated time it will take to complete the task. Once all the activities and estimates have been made, call up one student per activity to do the activity with Brewster. Time each activity.
Students should circle the time that is correct in the Actual Time column.
Ask students what other activities they could do with Brewster and how long they might take.
